Endless Mtn Landscape Designs are derived through knowledge and experience. Our lead landscape designer earned his degree in Horticulture at Luzerne County Community College and also attended Penn State University where he studied arboriculture. Endless Mountain Landscape designs are fabricated to last for years of enjoyment. During the design process, plant selections are made with their mature size and characteristics in mind. Proper spacing is incorporated to ensure that overcrowding does not become problem in the future. Progressional bloom is another characteristic that we like to incorporate in our designs. We create a variety of colors and textures in each area of the landscape so that there is an attribute for each season of the year. This knowledge is combined with years of experience working in the field to deliver creative and innovative designs.
Hardscaping and Ornamental Ponds and Waterfalls.
We provide quality stone pathways, walkways, patios, retaining walls, boulder steps and many other kinds of hardscaping that you want to incorporate into your yard. We guarantee our landscape construction to last for years of enjoyment. From pavers and flagstone, to ornamental ponds with cascading waterfalls, we can transform your backyard into a work of art.
When it comes to deciding what to plant in your yard, the thought of pests and animal control should be highly taken into consideration. One option for pest control we at Endless Mountain Landscapes like to practice is called Integrated Pest Management. IPM is an approach to pest control that focuses on pest prevention by eliminating the root causes of pest problems (Penn State Cooperative Extension). When chemicals are recommended to control a pest, we makes sure that they are applied only by or under the direct supervision of specially trained and certified applicators (PA – Certified Pesticide Applicator).
Endless Mountain Landscapes also offers Deer and Rabbit prevention. We can help protect your landscape against deer and rabbit damage by applying long-lasting, dormant animal repellants to your “at risk” plants. These repellants are highly recommended for the dormant season, since natural food sources to these animals continually deplete throughout the winter, forcing them to find nourishment in easily accessible areas. We can also help you design a landscape with plant arrangements and varieties that offer resistance from unwanted pests and diseases. Contact us today for more information on pest control and prices.
Maintenance / Up-keep
We’ll do your yard maintenance so you don’t have to! Endless Mountain Landscapes offers spring and fall maintenance to keep your landscape looking fresh and healthy. We also offer ornamental pruning for your plants to enhance their quality and lifespan. All pruning is done by or under the supervision of an International Certified Arborist (ISA).
Winter / Wind Burn Protection – (Anti-Desiccants)
Winter burn is another common injury in the cold season. Winter burn can occur whenever the soil freezes and the cold winter winds blow on your plants (mainly evergreens), drawing out moisture from the leaves or needles. Once the ground is frozen, roots cannot draw moisture from the soil. When winter burn occurs, the plant turns brown and the tissue usually dies in the affected areas creating the need for heavy pruning or replacement of the specimen. We can help reduce the damage caused from winter burn by applying polymer liquids called anti-desiccants, which help create a barrier over the pores in the leaves or needles, reducing the amount of water loss stored in the dormant plants.
